A content transmitting apparatus, a content outputting apparatus, a content transmitting method and a content outputting method are provided to prevent a user from feeling displeasure in accordance with an event in a terminal like a change of channels in a terminal which receives a broadcasting or a communication service. A content outputting apparatus comprises a signal receiver(210), a signal modulator(220), a demultiplexer(230), a content decoder(240), a memory(250), a content outputting controller(260), a content processor(270) and an outputting unit(280). The signal receiver receives a broadcasting signal or a mobile communication signal. The signal modulator modulates the broadcasting signal, outputted in an IF(Intermediate Frequency) by the signal receiver, into a digital signal. The demultiplexer(230) separates a video signal, an audio signal and a data signal from the modulated broadcasting signal, and at this time, transmitted content and content outputting time information are extracted. The content decoder decodes the extracted content and content outputting time information. The memory stores the decoded content and content outputting time information. The content outputting controller determines whether there occurs a content outputting event, and outputs the stored content based on the content outputting time information. The content processor performs an image process and a voice process for the decoded content based on the content outputting time information. The outputting unit outputs the processed content according to a control signal of the content outputting controller.
