Statistical characteristics and parameters of spectrum of Doppler signal reflected from extended object

In the article we examine the results of theoretical and experimental studies of the statistical characteristics and of the parameters of the Doppler signal spectrum for 2 Vladimir Mikhaylovich Artyushenko et al. different models of extended objects – transport means. Analysis and generalization of the obtained results was carried out based on a big selection of fragments of the Doppler signal spectrum that allows us to consider these results as statistically reliable. It is shown that acceleration motion of the extended object has the greatest influence on the width of the spectrum of the Doppler signal and, consequently, on the accuracy of the measurement of its speed of movement.
