Research on Lightweight of Space Swaying Mirror by the Means of FEM

Sic matrix composites are selected as the material of space swaying mirror, in this paper , models of finite element method based on several lightweight projects are built up ,and a computational analysis of stiffness under the self-weight load condition is carried on so as to obtain the distribution and variation of the deformation field ,finally an optimum synthesis project is defined on the premise of lightest structure weight which satisfies the requests of optical mechanical performances and processing technology
