Image steganography scheme based on reversible data embedding strategy

Steganography is communicating in a way which hides the existence of the information. The cover media can be any general digital format, such as, text, image, audio, video, etc. By using reversible data embedding strategy, the original digital format can be restored. In this paper, we present a reversible data embedding scheme with a good stego image quality and high capacity, which is applicable for any image type and any image format. Experimental results show that the average PSNR value is greater than 60dB and the hiding capacity in RGB images are three times higher than the grayscale images.
