Comparative Study on Several Scales in AHP

In this paper, a new evaluation systems of the scale in AHP is presented, based on the fellow standards: original order' keeping, consistency of judgment, uniformity of scale, perceptibility of scale, fit of scale-weight, etc. By the evaluation systems, such conclusions can be achieved: for any ordering under single criterion, using present known several scales, same order relations can be obtained. Therefore, the scale of 1～9 is suggested for this situations; for higher precise ordering, such as the ordering under multi-criteria, the scale of e~(0/4)～e~(8/4) or the scale of e~(0/5) ～e~(8/5) is suggested.
