Research of Rotatable Single Camera Object Localization Based on Man Height Model in Visual Surveillance

A method of object localization of rotatable single- camera in visual surveillance is proposed by the method of updating fixed man height model which is an effective method to solve object localization in fixed single-camera visual surveillance. Because of the rotation of the camera the parameter of height model and sample change which can be updated with the angle of the rotation known beforehand. The original parameters and the angel were combined in this algorithm to solve the update with two approach of pitching and pan respectively. Experiments with simulated data show that the technique is simple and accurate.
