An intelligent circuit breaker for a solar cell module string comprises a main contact (1), a circuit breaker actuating mechanism (2), a manual tripper (3), a manual switching-on device (4), a voltage measuring and conditioning circuit (5), a current measuring and conditioning circuit (6), a computer network (7), a communication interface (8) and a circuit breaker state auxiliary contact (9), a driving coil unit (10) and an intelligent controller (11) for the circuit breaker, the voltage measuring and conditioning circuit (5) and the current measuring and conditioning circuit (6) are respectively connected with the intelligent controller (11) for the circuit breaker, the driving coil unit (10) is connected with the intelligent controller (11) for the circuit breaker and the circuit breaker actuating mechanism (2), the circuit breaker actuating mechanism (2) is respectively connected with the manual tripper (3), the manual switching-on device (4) and the main contact (1), and the circuit breaker state auxiliary contact (9) is connected with the intelligent controller (11) for the circuit breaker. The intelligent circuit breaker is capable of realizing failure judgment and switching on or off control by measuring voltage and current signals of the solar cell module string, failure protection of the solar cell module string for short circuit and the like and an electrical signal telemetering function, and requirements for manual control during mounting are further taken into consideration so that safety of power generating by the aid of the solar energy is enhanced.
