ACCESS-BASED DATABASE DEVELOPMENT FOR HIGHWAY ENGINEERING MACHINES

Introducing the characteristics of Access-based databases and development under windows 95/NT environment, this paper discusses how to use OLE (object link and embed) instruments to improve the development efficiency and quality of an engineering database. With an example of a highway engineering database, various databases are built to handle transaction relationship management, real-time analysis of examination data, network management, and so on.
