Acumulação tecnológica e inovação industrial: conceitos, mensuração e evidências no Brasil

his article offers a contribution to the management of the industrial development process in the context of developing economies, particularly Brazil. The article clarifies certain terminologies relative to technological capability accumulation and industrial innovation. Finally, the article presents a metric, followed by a brief empirical application, that can be used to examine _ and manage _ the process of industrial development.
