Electric Load Forecasting Based on ARIMA Model and BP Network

The selection of the modeling data, data's pretreatment of power load forecasting and their effects on forecasting precision are discussed mainly. A new method of combining ARIMA model with BP network and using the solar term load as modeling data is put forward. The practice shows that the method can improve forecasting precision effectively and has better robusticity.
