The experimental study on the acoustic field generated by a sourceon the wall of the aluminium tube

Using a thick aluminium tube as a model well, some experimental results for the acoustic field generated bya source on the borehole wall are obtained. Their waveforms at different positions on the wall are analyzed by changingthe experiment conditions. There are mode waves of tube thickness, direct wave and circumferential surface waves inthe waveforms.
