Software systems in engineering -- 1995. PD-Volume 67

One goal of this symposium is to foster an understanding of the significance of interdisciplinary approaches to problem solving. Another goal is to identify important new problem solving tools which may advance the software engineering aspects of engineering problem solving. The following subjects are covered: user interface design for engineering applications; engineering software; software engineering support for engineering applications multimedia applications of the information superhighway; support of engineering processes; knowledge-based systems in engineering applications. Separate abstracts were prepared for six papers in this book.
