Compensation of networked control systems with time-delay and data packet losses

With the incertitude of the network-induced time-delay and data packet losses in networked control systems(NCS), the performance of control systems would degrade, even destabilize. In this paper, a new design of controller is presented, here the controller uses event and time driving, and state observer is designed for estimating the states and compensation for time delay and dropout. Then the closed system is modeled as asynchronous dynamical system constrained by configuration event rate. Exponential stability theory is used to analyze the stability of the closed loop system, and the states feedback controller design method is presented. The result of simulation experiment shows the validity of the proposed method, which well guarantees the stability of networked control systems with uncertain network-induced time-delay and data packet losses.
