Beam‐induced currents in toroidal plasmas of arbitrary aspect ratio

The effect of trapped electrons on plasma currents driven by fast ion beams is calculated for tokamaks of arbitrary aspect ratio. The theory uses a model operator to simulate electron‐electron collisions and applies to the banana regime of small collision frequency.
