Annealing cooling processes are classified in accordance with material and thickness of each steel coil in annealing plan,then multi-input and single-output modeling problem for cooling time prediction of hood-type annealing furnace is simplified to a group of single-input and single-output modeling problem.Fuzzy C-means algorithm is used to cluster the production data in batch annealing process,then the exponent least square algorithm is used to get the relationship between cooling time and weight of clusters.Practical application shows that the method can achieve more correct cooling time prediction of annealing furnace and meet the need of worksite.
