애니메이션 産業의 知識競爭力 强化를 위한 인프라구축과 輸出戰略化 方案

One strategy for discriminating in nowaday unlimited competition is producing and exporting of embodied goods, applying positively enterprise culture in enterprise activity and making its way into world market by own national culture in national dimension. Constitution of the key commodities in trade between nations is changing from hard goods of the past days to soft goods. So with increasing of interest in cultural industry, interest in animation is also growing up. Animation industry of Korea is third grade in the world in quantity of animation product at present although it is subcontract production of advanced nations like USA, Japan, etc. and animation industry of Korea is converting from subcontract production of the past to creative production in the structure of industry. To deal wisely with this structural conversion from subcontract production to creative production, we need to construct corporational system of domestic enterprises, groups and regions to fix new business system with predisposition of each animation enterprise. Competitive power of knowledge in the domestic animation industry of Korea is severely low compared with USA or Japan. In order to give a vision and a hope to the ordinary people after having a competitive power and to burn again as an export industry being a fruitful industry, government must develope a policy to improve inferior production condition only if animation industry shows an effort of self-confession attitude. Fortunately, the phase of animation is improved by the reconsideration of this area in the society and by the policy support. In order for the animation industry to grow as an exporting strategy industry, the expansion of domestic market and experience accumulation in the field of pre-production and post-production are required. And the effort of the trade itself for competition security such as human training and the concerning and support of government are needed. Furthermore, in the long term, the trade should make a high level animation aiming both domestic and international markets. For the enforcement of animation knowledge competition, the completion of production should be leveled up through the reconsideration of planing power and creation power. It is also requested to develope and produce the original piece based on traditional culture or the common sense of whole human being. Since the character which is directly related with popularity of product is the essential factor of the success or failure of animation, the enforcement of ability of character design is also required. For the growth of animation industry, the strategy to maximize the contacting region of industrial and cultural sides should be done as in the cases of an advanced nation like USA and Japan in the field of animation. That is, the combination of industry and culture is essential. The cultural goods like animation should be defined as economical culture goods or as cultural economy good having a market competition based on cultural originality by considering its cultural industrial properties. Therefore we need to think about basic items for the short and long term development. In this view point, this study analyzes the trend and the tendency of animation industry in the leading countries like France, USA and Japan by based on elemental files and recent domestic and international journals. This study examinates and analyzes the published works. And field survey in USA is done and specialists are consulted. Based on this kind examination and field survey, the reality of domestic animation is focused on through the understanding of the recent situation and future potential.
