A Simplified 64 DAPSK Demodulation Algorithm

In this paper,a simplified differential amplitude and phase demodulation algorithm for high-level Differential Amplitude and Phase Shift Keying(DAPSK) is proposed.It avoids the division arithmetic and decreases the number of differential amplitude and phase thresholds.Thus the complexity of system using the demodulation algorithm is reduced.The simulation results show that SNR of the simplified algorithm is 1.5dB lower than the conventional algorithm at the same Bit Error Rate(BER).
