Fractional delaly filters are widely applied in communications,speech processing,echo cancellation and multi-rate signal processing,etc.In this paper,the FIR variable fractional delay filter is designed and used to solve the problem of symbol synchronization of all digital receiver.Firstly,Weight Least-square method is used to design filter coefficients.Then the coefficients are optimized through genetic algorithm.The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by Matlab simulation software.The result shows that the fractional delay filter has good amplitude response and phase-delay response.
