A New Modeling Algorithm for Router-Level Topology

Modeling Internet topology is essential for the development and analysis of internetworking technology. In this paper, we point out the growth of Internet topology should be based on node attribution evolution via the analysis of network topology of national Internet Service Provider (ISP), and introduce the concept of attraction degree to quantitatively measure the node attribution. Then we propose a new modeling algorithm for Internet routerlevel topology by considering the influence of both node attribute evolution and geography limit. Finally, we use numerical examples to illustrate the developed algorithm.
