Neural Networks for Control: An Overview

The subject of neural networks for control (neurocontrol) is too broad and too complex to thoroughly review in the allowed 2 pages. However, such reviews have already been published in the past. This paper will simply give a few highlights and then cite some more detailed reviews. It will first talk about the subject in general terms, and then summarize the five generic designs or tools which have proven successful so far in control applications.
