An Innovative Methodology to Make a Questionnaire "Positive Definite" by the Statistical Software of Spss

5 Abstract: Questionnaires have advantages over some other types of surveys in that they are cheap, do not require as much effort from the questioner as verbal or telephone surveys and often have standardized answers that make it simple to compile data. However, such standardized answers may have some mathematical particularly statistical problems that dealing with them is complicated and only statistics experts can handle them. In this paper a simple methodology by SPSS is presented alongside a case study in an Iranian research and development organization. In the proposed methodology the parts that need deep knowledge of mathematics or statistics are posed on SPSS while the remained parts that can be handled by general skills are allocated to the human analyzer. This point makes the methodology very practical.
