Abstract The algorithm of the numerical solution of the boundary integral equations, obtained using a reduction of the Calderon-Seeley type, is described. The algorithm is based on using difference potentials to approximate the surface potentials which develop as a result of the reduction. The constructions are made using as an example boundary value problems for the Laplace equation in a plane. The results of calculations are presented.
