Accuracy of Short-Wave Numerical Models

Numerical models of what the engineer calls “short” waves have quickly become valuable adjuncts to engineering practice. However, the earlier models of this type had a relatively limited range or application. Practice demands a wider range and the paper describes various methods used to meet this demand.
