The invention relates to an electric control system of an energy storage electric workover rig. The electric control system comprises a four-quadrant PWM rectifier, an energy storage battery or a supercapacitor, an energy storage management system, a variable frequency inverter, a main motor, a controller, an on-board load hydraulic system and pneumatic system, wherein the four-quadrant PWM rectifier is connected with a well site transformer for constant-current output; the variable frequency inverter is connected with the four-quadrant PWM rectifier and is used for driving load operation of the main motor; the energy storage battery or the supercapacitor is directly connected to a DC bus between the variable frequency inverter and the four-quadrant PWM rectifier; the on-board load hydraulic system and pneumatic system are connected to an AC bus between the four-quadrant PWM rectifier and the well site transformer as a load; and the controller is used for being connected with the four-quadrant PWM rectifier, the variable frequency inverter, the energy storage battery or the supercapacitor and the energy storage management system and is used for detecting parameter information of each component and controlling operation of each component. By the electric control system, the problem of harmonic waves and the problems of optimal coordinated allocation of load power, energy feedback and the like which exist in the prior art can be solved.
