PLC Control of Start-up Procedures for Frequency Conversion Drive Belt Conveyors in Bulk Cargo Terminal

By analyzing the characteristics of full frequency conversion drive belt conveyor system and bulk cargo terminal operation,PLC-control method is proposed,through which equipment can be started up in sequence by following materials flow.By comparing with conventional reverse start-up procedures,the necessity and feasibility to implement start-up procedures are explained,which provide reference for raising operation efficiency of bulk cargo terminal belt conveyor system,decreasing energy consumption per unit and achieving the goal of energy-saving and emission-reduction.
