Fault Diagnosis for Substations with Redundant Protection Based on Fuzzy Petri Net

In view of the 750kV substation characteristics such as double net, dual protective configuration and the uncertainty of maloperation and rejection to operate,a fault diagnosing method for substations with redundant protection configuration based on fuzzy Petri net(FPN)is proposed. In this method, the redundant knowledge of the component diagnosis model is represented using the information about two protective devices and the rule is established according to the grid topology structure and the protective configuration.Based on this, the redundant diagnosis model based on FPN is developed and decomposed into two sub-models,the main and redundant model,in which the credibility of the initial information is determined by using the information-entropy while the minimal result-sets of fault diagnosis can be obtained through fuzzy reasoning. Results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
