A virtual multi-structure light system for measuring insect motion parameters

A virtual multi structure light measurement system based on one high speed camera and double lasers is proposed for measuring moving parameters of high speed flapping insects.The principles of virtual measuring system and grating structure light vision are given,and multi views are proposed in order to solve the obstacle arose by the high speed flapping.The configuration of virtual multi structure vision system is described detailed.Results show that the measuring system is feasible for measuring insect moving parameters and better result can be achieved.The cost of this system is low,and its structure is simple.
