Comparação dos níveis de estresse, recuperação e burnout em treinadores de futsal e futebol brasileiros através do RESTQ- COACH Comparison of stress, recovery and burnout levels in futsal and soccer Brazilian coaches through RESTQ-COACH

The aim of this study was to evaluate the reliability of RESTQ-Coach (and Recovery Stress Questionnaire for coaches) in a sample of Brazilian futsal coaches and soccer, and compare the differences between the constructs related to the Coach-RESQT these two samples. Those evaluated include 217 federated coaches, 76 of futsal and 141 of soccer. The results showed that the RESQTCoach has maintained good levels of overall reliability (α =. 821) and in all six constructs analyzed separately, the alpha was ≥ .700. Comparing futsal and soccer coaches were differences favourable of soccer coaches in the dimensions: self-efficacy (p = .009) physical well-being (p = .023) and field of cognitive techniques (p = .002). The futsal coaches showed higher levels of general stress (p =.046) and specific stress (p =.032) than the soccer coaches. The construct recovery did not differ between the two groups. It was concluded that the RESTQ-Coach is a reliable instrument to be used on this samples in Brazil. The soccer coaches were self-assessed with a greater physical well-being, greater self-efficacy and a greater field of cognitive techniques when compared to futsal coaches. The futsal coaches feel more stressed by their work activities that soccer coaches.
