A shielding barrel is arranged in the shielding case, a LaB6 negative pole and a heating element are arranged in the shielding barrel, a mounting base is arranged at the back end of the shielding case, is of a water cooling and hot sinking structure and is fixed on the inner wall of a mounting flange through a plurality of supporting rods, an air inlet connecting piece is mounted on the mounting flange as an air inlet, an electric connecting piece penetrates through the mounting flange, the gap between the periphery of the electric connecting piece and the mounting flange is sealed in ultrahigh vacuum, one end of the electric connecting piece is connected with the heating element, a water-cooling electrode is mounted outside the mounting flange, and the water-cooling electrode is connected with the heating element through a water-cooling joint in the mounting flange. The novel high-density negative pole plasma source can provide high-density plasma source to various kinds of plasma physics scientific research devices and is widely used.
