A Doppler Filter Based on Kalman Filter

Aimed at the inaccuracy of measuring velocity using Doppler filter's with fixed window length,a Doppler filter with adaptively adjusted window length was proposed,and accumulation estimation error rule to determine optimal window length was given.The acceleration was extracted by Kalman filter to adjust the window length of Doppler filter adaptively.By the integration method of radar signal processing and data processing,more accurate estimations of Doppler frequency and the velocity of targets could be achieved.The simulation shows that the tracking performance of adaptive window length is better than that of fixed window length.
