10-Gb/s Data를 위한 1-tap De-emphasis 송신기 드라이버 설계

In this paper, 1-tap de-emphasis Transmitter(TX) driver for 10-Gb/s data is proposed. The proposed driver is consist of pseudo single-to-differential (S2D) converter, pre-driver, and main driver. S2D converter is designed using CMOS inverter to minimize static power. Pre-driver and main driver is designed as CML(current-mode logic) type for high-speed operation. 1-tap de-emphasis enhances eye size and aperture time by 12% and 18%, respectively. Total power dissipation of the proposed driver is 26.69mW. The proposed driver is designed and simulated with a 65nm CMOS process.
