Research on Shift Quality of Hydro-mechanical Continuously Variable Transmission

The shift process of hydro-mechanical continuously variable transmission with eight clutches was analyzed.Based on the bond graph theory the mathematical models of ten states in shift process were established,and the simulation model was established.When the highest pressure of charge is the same and the time of charge is different,two kinds of simulation results are presented.The simulation results show that the dynamic load will reduce when the time of charge increases,at the same time the thermal load of clutch will increase.
