A Cooperative Positioning Algorithm in Cellular Networks with Hearability Problem

The letter presents a cooperative positioning algorithm in cellular networks. Due to hearability problem, the distance between a mobile terminal (MT) and only its home base station can be utilized for positioning. Moreover, several MTs belongs to 3 adjacent cells cooperate with their nearby MTs for positioning. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms the existing algorithms in the literature.
