Peripapillary angiomatosis associated with cat-scratch neuroretinitis.

Cat-scratch disease (CSD) is a systemic disorder with a variety of presentations. We report a case of neuroretinitis with an unusual infiltrative angiomatous lesion associated with other common manifestations of CSD. Report of a Case. —A 22-year-old man presented with a 5-day history of retrobulbar pain and decreased vision in the right eye. He had sustained a cat bite in the left hand 1 month before presentation and reported episodic fever, night sweats, chills, fatigue, and malaise. The patient had recently immigrated from Morocco and denied any history of tick bites, arthralgias, or rashes. A complete review of systems showed no abnormalities.
