Weighing small-scale resource recovery
暂无分享,去创建一个
The findings of an EPA-sponsored study of the feasibility of resource recovery facilities for small-scale (less than 100 tons/day) waste-producing units, e.g., hospitals, airports, universities, shopping centers, etc., are discussed with data on quantities of waste produced, waste composition, and the cost of waste recycling for materials or energy recovery. Stressing that the feasibility of any waste processing plant is very site specific, the most economical small-scale resource recovery systems were found to be waste separation at the source of waste generation and energy recovery from waste incineration.
