Global Dimensional Optimization of Double-Knuckle Servo Mechanical Press Based on Performance Atlases over Bounded Solution Space

The optimized synthesis was studied for double-knuckle servo mechanical press based on performance atlases over bounded solution space.The relationship between performance indices and link lengths is built up and the performance atlases are depicted over the bounded solution space.In the performance atlases,optimal dimensional region can be determined to maximize the mechanical advantage of the punching mechanism and minimize the payload distribution among the links.Searching from the optimal dimensional region,the dimensional design with global optimization is got for punching mechanism based on the complex method of optimization.Finally,a case study demonstrates the optimized synthesis method for the double-knuckle servo mechanical press.
