77 GHz CW-radar concept with passive components in LTCC

A radar concept with focus on an unequal branchline coupler and a T-junction with 90° phase difference at the output ports is presented. The W-band radar-sensor is used for high accuracy short distance measurements in industrial applications. The simulation results of the passive components are verified by measurements and a calibration process of non-ideal effects is described.
