Fault tolerant control of Small Distributed Generation Systems

The present paper deals with a novel fault tolerant control strategy for Small Distributed Generation Systems. The proposed technique, coupled to a fault tolerant inverter topology allows to the generation system to produce electrical energy also under fault conditions. Compared to normal operation, minimal additional hardware requirements is necessary while the same computational burden can be maintained. Simulation and experimental results confirm the consistency of the presented control strategy.
