Notice of RetractionA Study on the Precision Improvement of the Magnetostrictive Linear Position Sensor

The magnetostrictive linear position sensor is widely used in non-touch measurement, auto-location, micro-displacement and ultrasonic vibration test. And it is also used in control actuator system in many kinds of robots. But because of the big noise induced by the magnetic interference in the working environment, the accuracy of the magnetostrictive linear position sensor is greatly influenced and even the whole sensor system loses sometimes its efficacy. It is necessary to study how to reduce the effects of the noise. The present paper is a tentative effort to find a method to improve the anti-noise ability of the magnetostrictive linear position sensor. Concretely, this paper attempts to make researches on the torsional wave generation mechanism of this kind of sensor, build the energy conversion mathematical model, establish the alternate magnetic fields, and discuss their function on improving the precision of the magnetostrictive linear position sensor.
