Best routes selection in international intermodal networks

According to the characteristics of sea-rail intermodal networks in China,The paper considers the transportation costs and transportation time,and the best routes selection problem is transformed into a bi-objective shortest path problem through constructing the virtual network. A bi-objective integer programming is developed and a bi-objective labeling algorithm is proposed to solve the problem. Simulation results show that the algorithm generates all Pareto optimal routes,which provides the comprehensive guidance for scientific decision.
