Fast Recognition of Power Flow Transferring Under Change of Power Network Topology

Based on graph theory,a method to fast recognize the power flow transferring under the change of power network topology is proposed.The matrix corresponding to real-time network topology is built and after the matrix operation the region impacted by overload branches is predicted,then the seriously impacted region is further estimated by dynamic power flow analysis to judge the operation conditions of transmission line within the network.The proposed method is suitable to connected and disconnected networks.The effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method are verified by simulation results of Wood Wollenberg 1-node system and IEEE 30-bus system.
