Hemoplasmose felina – relato de caso

A hemoplasmose felina esta relacionada a anemia hemolitica em felinos, sendo causada pelo agente Mycoplasma haemofelis , um hemoplasma que parasita eritrocitos de felinos domesticos e tem distribuicao mundial. Apresenta-se geralmente na forma de cocos, sobre ou aderido aos eritrocitos, podendo estar associado a coinfeccoes com os virus da Imunodefi ciencia Felina (FIV) e o virusda Leucemia Felina (FeLV). O presente trabalho relata um caso de hemoplasmose em um felino jovem, macho e sem raca definida, atendido no Hospital Veterinario da Universidade Luterana do Brasil (HV-ULBRA), Canoas, Rio Grande do Sul.
