Performance Evaluating of RPL Routing Protocol under Real Environment

Performance of TinyRPL routing protocol in a real environment were tested and analyzed. Firstly,hardware and software of the test network environment is presented. On this basis,four performance indicators of the throughput,packet delivery ratio,routing fairness and routing protocol overhead are defined and explained. Then the four performance indicators were tested and analyzed. At last,a summary of the analytical results is done and the further research is pointed out.
