Scaled Solutions of Richards\' Equation for Infiltration and Drainage Considering Dissimilar Soils

Miller-Miller “similar media” theory developments lead to scaling methods applied to porous media. Richards' equation (RE) is often scaled seeking a single solution to a variety of hydrodynamic conditions. Although many types of methods for scaling RE have been developed, most of them apply only to similar soils. The similarity condition limits the application of these methods. The main objective of this study was to develop a method to scale RE for dissimilar soils spanning a range of textures.
