A fuzzy goal regression model for the construction cost estimation of municipal waste incinerators

This paper presents a new cost estimation approach: the fuzzy goal regression model. The practical implementation of this model is assessed by the construction cost estimation of municipal incenerators in Taiwan. The results obtained by the proposed fuzzy goal regression model were also compared with those predicted by conventional fuzzy linear regression and least-squares regression models.
