Across different disciplines, including Computer Science, study and interest in social networks has grown over time. Through social networks, it is possible to obtain a source of interaction between people and knowledge in different application domains, such as the classroom. Across this research, and focusing on the study case, we analyze the dynamics of communication in an asynchronous forum in the context of Social Network Analysis (SNA). According to this, was subsequently developed to display graphs structuring nodes, relationships, communities and also calculated corresponding metrics. This approach brings SNA as the study of social structure that will allow the teacher to figure up and diagnose the social climate and intervene according to obtained results. Finally we obtain some conclusions regarding methodology and its usefulness in this domain, in addition we presents conclusions and future work.
