Optical reading head inclination checking method

An optical pickup head inclination detecting method includes the steps of receiving a plurality of spot images, transforming the spot images into digital images, superposing the digital images to produce superposed images, building a coordinate system for the superposed images, analyzing the superposed images, identifying a first static spot, a second static spot and a moving spot and obtaining the coordinate values of the first static spot, the second static spot and the moving spot, and then calculating distance values between the first static spot and the moving spot and between the second static spot and the moving spot, according to the coordinate values of the first static spot, the second static spot and the moving spot, wherein the larger one of the two distance values is the maximum distance value, comparing the maximum distance value with a preset first critical distance value to obtain the result that whether the optical pickup head inclination meets the demand or not. The optical pickup head inclination detecting method can automatically identify static spots and moving spots of spot images, and accurately obtain the distance relation between the static spots and the moving spots, thereby determining whether the optical pickup head inclination meets the demand or not according to the distance relation.
