The robot programming is time-consuming and presents a considerable cost factor for online robot teaching. In this paper. it is shown how the newly developed Augmented Reality(AR) technique can be used in the domain of online robot programming and introduces a concept for user interaction. This new kind of man-machine interface can increase the intuitiveness of the programming process and thus reduce the time spent on programming. The AR-based method saves modelling efforts spent on offline-techniques and allows safe visualization of the robot's behaviour in its real environment.
