Common Approaches, Methods, Planning

A CoMeDa cycle is a process of applying AMITUDE concepts and a usability method to collect usability data for analysis in order to improve system usability (Section 1.3.1). Having introduced the Concepts part of CoMeDa in Chapters 3 and 4, we move on to the Methods part on how to collect usability information. This chapter presents common informal usability information collection Approaches and introduces the more systematic usability Methods to be described in Chapters 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13. We also describe two tools for managing usability: the general Usability Workplan and the more specific Usability Method Plan.
