High step-up integrated DC-DC converters: Methodology of synthesis and analysis

This paper proposes demonstrate an alternative method of DC-DC converter integration to generate high step-up DC/DC converters. The methodology is based on integration of the common circuits of the standard DC/DC converters and association of the converters output sections. It is presented that for the integration of two non-isolated converters, the output sections can only be series connected, meanwhile parallel and cascaded connection are also possible configurations for the integration of one isolated converter with a non-isolated one. Further simulation and experimental analyses are carried out for the Integrated boost-Zeta and Integrated boost-flyback converters confirming the theoretical analyses.
